Sheldon Sloan, PA

Sheldon has 20+ years experience in trauma; E.R. and F.P.. He grew up in Woodville, TX and graduated H.S. in 1976. He joined the U.S. Navy in August 1976; began as a corpsman stationed with U.S.M.C. training. He later played volleyball for, The University of Tennesee at Chattanooga. He was accepted into P.A. school in May1989 and graduated in August 1991. Next he spent 2 years into PHS and tranferred to the Navy in 1993. He had one tour on-ship and spent the rest of the time with U.S.M.C. duty stations. He was selected as Whitehouse V.P./P.A. in 2001. Served a 6-month tour of duty in Iraq in 2004 and a 1-year tour in Bahrain in 2006. Retired from the Navy in November 2007. He began working for Lake County Tribal Health in December of 2007.
